| Oh, I'm SO glad it was working fine for you - it must have something to do with my default settings when I download. Okay, if that's the case, I'll put the EZ Translator back up for download. Thanks SO much for letting me know! If/when you have a moment, I'd be interested to know what 'fiddling' you had to do with it - if it's something I can fix, then I will, just for the sake of anyone who downloads it who doesn't know how to work with Access. Thanks again! | |

| I can't go into too much detail (I'm a little busy at the moment), but I will say that the latest database I downloaded from your fileshare worked fine, search feature and all. I needed to do a little fiddling, but it worked fine. | |

| Hello All! I am sad to announce that I've removed all my databases from my file hosting site... it appears that none of them were functioning properly. I did a test download on all of them, and found that the search function, which is the BEST part of the program, wasn't working at all. I can't figure it out - the application works perfectly before I upload it!? My various databases have been downloaded hundreds of times, and I can't believe that no one told me they weren't working right! I wonder if they are working, and it's just some kind of glitch on my computer when I download them, but I can't assume that, and I certainly don't want to offer a feature that doesn't work! If anyone who has downloaded these applications visits this forum, can you please provide some feedback for me? I won't be offering any of them again until I've confirmed their functionality. I have NO idea how to resolve this issue... I can only assume that it has something to do with the visual basic code I'm using on the unbound field and search toggle, but it seems strange that it would work perfectly before I upload and not work at all after it's downloaded. I'm no expert in visual basic, unfortunately, so if it's not working, I'm afraid that the databases will be unavailable until I find someone who can fix it for me. So sorry, folks! In the mean time, I'm still trying to publicly publish my Divinian glossary on Babylon. The only problem I'm running into there is that I want to have a 2-way glossary (English-Divinian and Divinian-English), but when I try to create them, one always overwrites the other because Babylon won't let me change the file name. I can actually load both into my own version of Babylon for a 2-way function, but because they have the same file name, I can't get permission from Babylon to publish both. So I can offer the E-D, if you're interested, but I just won't be able to offer the alternative. Let me know if that's something that would be useful and I'll go from there. Thanks for all your support, and please, do let me know if your download isn't working correctly. T. | |
